FB#.INITSIGNED
Description
FB#.INITSIGNED configures the use of the sign bit for multiturn feedback devices, and determines the initial sign of the 64-bit position feedback (FB#.P) at power-up. The initial position needs to be treated as signed or unsigned, depending on the application.
FB#.INITSIGNED takes effect when the feedback device is initialized, for example when it is first selected or later reset. FB#.INITSIGNED does not change the feedback position after the device has been initialized.

- Linear encoders are not supported.
Usage
- Setting FB#.INITSIGNED to 0 treats the initial position feedback as an unsigned value. FB#.P will always be set to a non-negative value at initialization.
- Setting FB#.INITSIGNED to 1 treats the initial position feedback as a signed value. If the most significant bit of the multiturn bits from the feedback is 1, FB#.P will be sign extended to a 64-bit negative value.
